ASTRAL TRAVELER was created through Art and Memory. Since I'm a Seer out of season with a Wish to Share a Vision, I thought of creating a site that is both mentally and visually stimulating to the most important person - you.

The intention of this site is to provide quality information of a neutral, nonreligious nature about certain metaphysical topics. It's a specialized site with topics in relation to the behavior of the Soul and provides insight into energy fields, realities, precognitive sciences, healing and other controversial theories. AstralTraveler.com is meant to produce a surreal experience.

We are attempting to trigger the curiosity of readers who we hope will then seek to expand their knowledge with books on these topics. Some of the books we recommend are available at our Bookstore.
As a service to the Internet community, we accept content contribution; for further infomation please visit the Contact
page. For the latest updates on changes taking place, including any recognitions or awards received, check on our Updates page.

Astral Traveler is an informational Web site that is designed to give readers just a taste of some of the most thought-provoking ideas of our times. Please NOTE that we do not offer counseling or advice, either psychological, astrological, or any other type.We only offer information as it appears on this site. If you want further information on these subjects, we suggest you visit the Bookstore and investigate the offerings there, or go to the Links page, where you will find URLs to many sites, some of which explore these topics in more detail.

This site was created and is maintained by Danyel Seagan, a Futurist/Metaphysical theorist speaker whose book, Liquid Mind was published on February 28, 2003. Further information about Danyel's work may also be found by visiting the Web site for his book - Liquid Mind. AstralTraveler.com provides information that lays the foundation for his thoughts on Human Consciousness.

You may create a link to this site or the Liquid Mind site by using one of our banner images on your site. Please notify us and let us know your URL if you create a link to one of our sites so we can check out your site - we're always seeking new inspiration. The HTML code you may use for the banner images is as follows:

<p align="center"><a href="http://www.astraltraveler.com/"><img src="http://www.astraltraveler.com/atbn.gif" width="468" height="60" border="0" alt="Astral Traveler"</a><br>
<font size="1" color="#FFFF00"><a href="http://www.astraltraveler.com/" target="_top">Astral Traveler</a></font></p>

The same code can be used for the Liquid Mind banner (just change the image name from atbn.gif to lmbn.jpg).
If you are a novice in HTML and if you have a visual HTML editor such as MS FrontPage, Adobe PageMill or Macromedia Dreamweaver, you may copy either of the images below and create a hyperlink to our site.

Technical specifications:

Due to the variety of backgrounds we use on this site, the fonts used are Tahoma and Verdana. Both of these are standard with most operating systems and browsers. If you are missing either of them, then click download now. The file you'll be downloading is 417 KB containing True Type fonts and it's in WinZip 6.3 format. Install them in the 'Fonts directory' of your computer.

Recommended screen resolution for this site is 1024x768 at 24 bit or 32 bit. Anything higher than 1024x768 is not recommended as both graphics and text will become too small for viewing and enjoyment. The disadvantage we find in using very high screen resolutions for the Internet is that graphic files would have to be made bigger in size and would take longer to download.

If you can't view the Java Applets on this site due to a security exception message, it's because of Firewalls. Firewalls are security systems that often exist in larger companies and are used to increase the company's network security.

Overall, this site is graphics-intensive and uses JavaScripts, DHTML, Cascade Style Sheets (CSS), Rollovers, Java Applets, Flash and Shockwave. An appropriate browser is required due to certain features this site offers. We recommend Internet Explorer 4.x or greater, Netscape Navigator 4.x and 7, Firefox 1.x, and/or Safari 2.x.

Please note that versions 4.08 - 6.0 of Netscape Navigator are not CSS compliant. Future releases of Navigator hopefully will address this issue. We recommend that you NOT use Netscape 6.0 or the Opera 4-6 (version 7.x is safe) to view this site because you will not be able to see some of the multimedia features.

If older versions of browsers are used and you can't view the Java Applets on this site, then your Java plug-in needs to be updated. To upgrade your Java plug-in you may visit the Sun Microsystems or Apple Web sites. Below are the hyperlinks you may need according to operating system:

Java plug-in for Windows

Java plug-in for Mac
Java plug-in for Macintosh

You may upgrade your current browser, or get a new one at the following sites:

Microsoft (IE 6.x)
Microsoft browser

Opera (OP 8.x)
Opera browser

Attention Netscape users:
As of 2001 AOL Time Warner has discontinued technical support for Netscape Navigator. In other words Netscape Navigator has been discontinued, and the use of this browser is mainly for sentimental reasons.
However, in 2005 AOL Time Warner re-released Netscape as version 8. Since this version is no longer using a unique browser-rendering engine, it's now considered to be a "hybrid" browser. This version is using two browser-rendering engines built in: the Mozilla Firefox engine and the Microsoft Internet Explorer engine. But, on February 2008 is going to discontinue development and end active support for the Netscape browser.

However, an alternative to Netscape Navigator is:

Firefox (FF 1.x)
Firefox browser
